Faculty of Education Car Parking Space Management System

  1. The Faculty of Education in no way guarantees the security of any vehicle or its contents whilst on Faculty premises and save for personal injury or death arising from the negligence of the Faculty or its servants, no liability whatsoever will attach to the Faculty for any loss or damage occurring. Vehicles are parked, in all respects, at the owners’ risk.
  2. All users of Faculty of Education car parking facilities are required to prominently display a valid Faculty of Education visitor parking permit on their vehicle and, if a blue badge holder, display this badge clearly on the windscreen.
  3. Applications for a visitor parking permit shall be submitted to Reception at the Faculty of Education. The issue of a parking permit in no way guarantees that a parking space will be available. Non designated car parking spaces are available on a first come-first served basis.
  4. A permit is valid only for car parking facilities on the site for which it is issued. It is not valid for parking at any other Faculty car park.
  5. Any vehicle parked in a position which is inconsiderate to the Faculty or to other car park users, may immediately and, notwithstanding the display or otherwise of a valid parking permit, be removed and/or a wheel clamp fixed to the vehicle. Inconsiderate parking shall include, but shall not be limited to the following:
    1. Parking a vehicle in a ‘disabled’ space when the user is not entitled to use such a space.
    2. Parking a vehicle outside marked parking spaces or otherwise causing an obstruction.
    3. Parking a vehicle contrary to any road markings such as double yellow lines or hatch painted areas.
    4. Parking a vehicle when such facilities have already been denied or withdrawn from the user.
  6. The Faculty of Education reserves the right to remove the right to park at any given time.
  7. No vehicle is to be left on site overnight without the prior permission of the Facilities Supervisor.
